According to the Home Office guidance dated 6 July 2026, it may be possible to get priority service
for a citizenship application by applying through the nationality priority service for an additional fee
of £500.
Customers submitting a priority service application should normally expect to receive a decision
within 30 working days from the date of biometric submission.
Please note that an application that’s already been submitted can’t be upgraded to priority.
