Judicial review fees are increasing
On Tuesday, 8 April 2025, the Upper Tribunal will raise judicial review fees, including:
- Permission to apply for judicial review: from £169 to £174
- Judicial review (oral review): from £424 to £438
- Proceed with judicial review – permission granted at oral hearing: from £385 to £436
- Proceeding with a judicial review – after permission granted: from £847 to £874
- Permission for judicial review – permission granted to proceed where proceedings started (otherwise than by application for permission): from £169 to £174
- Judicial review general application – on notice (where no other fee is specified): from £281 to £290
- Judicial review general application – by consent or without notice (where no other fee is specified): from £110 to £114
- Judicial review – application for a summons or order from a witness to attend the Tribunal: from £55 to £57
