If you have completed our internal complaints process and remain dissatisfied with our final response or resolution, you may refer your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman. This independent body, established under the Legal Services Act, is authorized to investigate complaints concerning the legal services you received from us.
Before undertaking an investigation, the Legal Ombudsman will ensure that you have already attempted to resolve your complaint with us. If you have, you must submit your complaint to the Legal Ombudsman:
- within six months of receiving a final response from us.
- Additionally, it should be submitted no more than one year from the action or omission that triggered the complaint,
- or within one year from when you should have reasonably become aware of the issue.
