The Youth Mobility and Working Holiday schemes have been expanded so more young people will be eligible to live and work in both countries for longer.

News for young people in the UK and New Zealand, as shared visa schemes between the two countries are expanding, offering opportunities on the other side of the world. From June 29, the age limit for New Zealand applicants coming to the UK will increase from 30 to 35 years old, and the maximum length of stay in the host country will extend to 3 years. Similarly, from July 1, the age range for Brits wanting to take advantage of the scheme in New Zealand will increase, and they will be able to work throughout their stay of up to 3 years.

This move is expected to boost cultural exchange and create new opportunities for young people, opening up doors to personal and professional growth.
